HD Webcam – Logitech C310

Still image capture up to 5.0 megapixels with software enhancement for high-resolution clarity. Video capture up to 720p (1280 x 720 pixels) resolution and widescreen video calling in 16:9 format to ensure sharp detail and lifelike motion. Delivers stunning image quality. RightLight technology automatically adjusts the webcam’s settings to ensure optimal lighting, even in dim or poorly backlit settings. Offers smooth video, sharp pictures, rich colors and clear sound. Along with pan, tilt and zoom controls via software allows you to adjust the webcam’s angles to suit your preferences.

Person Note: I just got one of these. I like that it does not have auto focus. I just end up turning that off anyway. The width of the shot is not as wide as the C920, but good for a talk show or a wide shot of a church or meeting hall. And the clarity of the image is not as good as the C920. But it’s half the price! – Tom

Capture Card – Blackmagic Intensity Pro 4K Captures HD HDMI or Component Video

The BM Intensity Pro 4K is a PCIe capture card for one HD input into a PC or Mac. Card can do input or output, but not both at the same time. An included dongle also allows capture of S-video, composite video and stereo audio. Card can be a little tricky to set up and does not work with some motherboards. Check this Blackmagic site for more info. For more info, click the image below.

Personal Note: While tricky to set up, I have used the older version of these as capture cards for cameras and to share video from on PC to another, and they work flawlessly. – Tom
